Having internet issues in Thailand so only responding all this now. Lots to read and I have a spanner in the works concerning me. I have a friend flying in from Dublin on the Monday after the games and I will be staying in CHCH till at least tuesday. I will have to drive up to be able to pick her up and bring her to Dunedin. Anyone that wants to travel up with me is welcome to do so but unless your staying on till at least tuesday you have to go back with someone else. Easier to just do my own thing I know but some company in the car would be good. If a convoy is going up I can help take the weight off in the cars by taking one or two on the the trip up. Ill sort out my own fuel.
On a seperate note…Thailand is awesome by the way and I burnt real easy in the sun. So now i have a red ass.
Right – I have booked us into the jailhouse for the 2 nights. Jane you are booked in for one night.
The cost is $25 per person per night for the dorm.

Also to book required a deposit and a credit card number so anyone who pulls out owes me 20% of the booking.
Probably all going up Friday. We havent sorted any of that out yet. Only other option is going up thursday but Im booking backpackers for friday night and saturday night so anyuone going thursday can do their own booking for accomodation.
Hey mark, any provisional dates for this little trip to QT. Might help sort out where people can go or not.
My plans are to go up with whoever on thursday night or friday morning depending on stuff. Whoever wants too come with me in my car can but I have to hang on two days as a friend is flying into CHCH from Ireland and I will be driving back to dunedin with her.
