Quite suprisingly we didnt get much chance to drink last time because we were all soo tired. We would come home and just collapse in our beds.
Mind you we were staying in a Christian Camp called Teen Ranch, where we werent allowed to drink . Next year they are going to be staying somewhere else though.
ScottyScottyMemberIm shifting over to Canada in a couple of weeks, to Toronto, and Im planning on meeting up with every one when they arrive. Last year we had players from Aussie, Scotland, Auckland and Christchurch so I dont see any reason why you couldnt fly in from another area in Canada.
I loved it soo much after going last February that I have decided to shift over there to live <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/grin.gif" alt="” title=”Grin” />

I could fly over to Toronto, play in the games, and join the team on the flights back to NZ because that would be roughly when I’d be heading back here.Does that sound too complicated or far-fetched, or is it plausible?
Seems like a long-shot to me, just wondering your opinion?
[/quote:2x3zt07o]ScottyMemberLast year there was a 15 year old from aussie that came with us. He came with his dad. If you send an email to Alison Reid she would be able to tell you if something could be sorted out.

ScottyMemberI looked it to getting refs sweater a while ago. You can look round for the cheapest/best deal, but if you wont a jearsy with red armbands its best to go to ‘sourse for sports’. They were the only ones I could find with red armbands all the rest were orange.
ScottyMemberThanx for the help. BTW how do you get to the ice rinks with out having to walk over the speed skating rink?
ScottyMemberhere is the before and after photos of my mask that I painted.
ScottyMemberAny luck with that goalie/ref cam yet?
ScottyMemberthe ones i saw on dvd were built into the bridge of the helmet. like just above the cage. I have an old goalie helmet you could fit it into, but unfortunately its here in chch.
ScottyMemberI’m not exactly sure on the setup of your camera ryan, but I recommend having the lens on top of the helmet and a cable running to the middle of the refs/goalies back where the rest of the circuitry and battery pack are. you just have to be careful if you fall over. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/wink.gif" alt="” title=”Wink” />
ScottyMemberI wouldn’t consider putting a camera anywhere on a goalie. On the chest is where most players seem to aim!! <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/tongue.gif" alt="” title=”Tongue” /> And I’ve been hit soo many times in the head while goalie I’ve lost count. I’ve seen them on NHL dvds tho; built into the front of the helmet. Oh and they had them in the Olympics in Turin for the refs.
They look pretty cool.ScottyMemberHey guyz, my first post! anyway I would just like to thank the refs that were in Dunners for the Nationals in the weekend for giving me the chance to ref and line a couple of games. Its more than I could have eva expected.
Cheers
