[b:1ncyf5tm]Update:[/b:1ncyf5tm] After speaking to Phil Pielak-Jones it seems that there’s not likely to be any problem with them coming here. Jackie Christos seemed to know a little about the background behind it all and could see no problem in them playing our team. Phil is now going to contact Graeme Sykes who had some involvement with them last year.
I’ll be going back to my original source now to see if they mind me blabbing who they are and get them to pass on a message to the NY Pirates asking them to contact our secretary Joyce Miller about the issue.

Plus quite a few players who would have been suitable are gone for the weekend. Or at least for those few hours.
They’re not that good though. They have some pretty shit players who we can just skate past no problems. The addition of Jaques is a little problematic however, he’s not too shabby.
Will be interesting to see Chris pull off that body check on Ryan Wick that he keeps saying he’s going to do. The two thugs going head to head – could be fun to watch/laugh at <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smiley.gif" alt="
