MemberYou want to know about the stats for the website? The forum?
Stats for the website have been steady in the last few months around 1600-1800 uniques/month. Data transfer shot up when I started uploading big videos but has petered down in the last few weeks and will probably continue. The highest data transfer has been about 4 GB/month I think.
If you’re meaning the forum stats, well they got all messed up when I started using SMF as a CMS for the rest of the site. They boards which are used to hold all the static pages kept showing up in the freakin’ stats page (unexpected side effect) and I’m not sure how to get rid of them. So I just yanked the link to the stats page. Plus my own personal stats shot through the roof as all of my latest news posts and static pages are adding to my post count. These are all fixable problems, but I’m too lazy to figure out how <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smiley.gif" alt="
” title=”Smiley” /> And having my posts count towards the total post count makes the forum look bigger than it really is <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/tongue.gif" alt="

You can still access the original forum stats page from this URL though … http://www.dunedinicehockey.hellyer.kiwi/forum/index.php?action=stats%5B/url:18aeycki%5D

MemberThere’s definitely interest … at least from me as I don’t like having gaps on the site.

MemberThe Dunedin Ice Stadium manager Neil Gamble phoned me today.
According to him, we never booked the ice time the speed skaters are using. The speed skaters booked it over a year ago.So I’m not sure how this mess occurred now.

I’m not sure I’ll have a use for these immediately. But I’m always needing mugshots of people for posting when they do something significant. Like when I needed a mugshot of Simon Christos after the NZIHL game here.
The more pics the better <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smiley.gif" alt="
” title=”Smiley” /> So just let us know when you want to take them and we’ll be there <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smiley.gif" alt="

From the the way he’s staring at you in that pic Joe, I think he’s going to miss you A LOT when you leave!

MemberWelcome to Joe Sales who now has access in here.
I’ve seen him reffing a bunch of games lately so figured he was meant to have access. Also … I spoke to Lyndal Heineman the other day (ex Dunedin ref now living in ChCh) who said my name had been mentioned in a referees meeting in ChCh recently when they were all told about this forum. So perhaps we’ll get a few more recruits in here soon.

MemberHans received my email via the rink email address and has left a hard copy on Neils desk. Hans didn’t know why we hadn’t been informed of the changes. Hopefully Neil will be able to shed light on the issue.
I’m guessing by “Start time”, Hans meant “End Time”:

[/quote:7dd1n6ij]Oh yeah, that crept on a few pages lately. It’s related to the new menu design. It’ll take me a about 30 second to fix so will be done by the time you read this.

[/quote:2dj9bpkz]If you read the above posts again you’ll see that I got it wrong the first time. So Graham (leftright) was quite right to ask that question again.

MemberLol, you don’t need to wait for my approval for that. If you think stuff should be moved just move it. I can always move it back if necessary. I didn’t stick it in the general forum originally coz I wanted to confirm it first. I’ve sent an email to the rinks email address – not sure how often they check it though – politely asking for an explanation I post here on the site.

[/quote:139i68ln]No, what she told me was different. I’ll go double check though just in case.
[b:139i68ln]EDIT:[/b:139i68ln] Woops! I did get it wrong!
[quote:139i68ln]15/ All of the elimination round games to be mid-ice contact only.
If the semi-finals and FINAL are played on a rink with high boards full contact shall be
permitted, otherwise mid-ice contact only will be played.[/quote:139i68ln]And those rules I posted further up this topic are indeed the current rules.

MemberI hadn’t actually noticed they were your photos Joe.
And it looks like they’re charging people to come coach hockey!? I think the gist (unless I’ve got it entirely wrong) is that you pay $XXXX but get free rent, food, accomodation, get to play hockey and on the side you do some coaching.
Gap year is what you generally do between major points in your life like when you leave university and go bum round Europe for a year, or in this case bumming round New Zealand coaching hockey.
