That’s not necessarily true (unless the Albury Ice Hockey Club have confirmed otherwise). They could quite easily change the NZIHF rule about women not being able to play contact. That’s what they’ve done in Christchurch hence women play in their contact league up there. There was an email sent around by the SIHL head referee Peter O’Keefe a while back about this issue, the DIHA does similar things with equipment rules.Ryan,
It seems the menu has always been stuffed up!?
You were always supposed to be able to see the Beasts button in the main menu whether in the forum or not. I could see it fine on my login coz I have administrator privileges, but for whatever reason it must have been goofing for the rest of you.
I’m surprised no one complained already!?
Anyhows, I’ll try to fix it soon-ish, although I may not have time tonight.

That certainly isn’t the way it’s meant to work at all! The menu shouldn’t change, no matter whether you are in the forum or not.

Okay, I’m really confused here. Can you guys see the “Admin” button which has replaced the “Beasts” button? And have you/can you see the Beasts forum when you go into the forum menu and look under boards?
I tried setting up a similar system for the referees and they’re saying they can’t see it and when I tried testing it with another username I could see anything!?!?

Well that’s kinda weird, not sure why it’s not working.
I’ve just finished a jug of beer and now onto some wine so probably not the time for dealing with these things. I may get on to it tomorrow evening maybe – or Wednesday.
