    Awesome <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smiley.gif" alt=":)” title=”Smiley” /> I can’t wait.

Although my lack of fitness demonstrated last night doesn’t bode well for Sunday!

That’s not an option. Those practices have been paid in advance by some players who wont be wanting to practice checking. Plus the DIHA are having enough troubles working out how much to charge us let alone throwing refunding people into the works.

I’m waiting for confirmation that the ice time is booked.

I keep posting stuff like this and later it turns out that the ice wasn’t booked and I end up looking like an ass.

Yes this is correct. You and Chris will be in for a beating for being so cynical.

She’s more than happy to cancel powerskating for that night. It’s the club which needs to get back to me. They have a meeting on Monday so if I’m lucky they may discuss it then. I’m not holding my breathe though.

So … any volunteers? $20 coming your way if you accept. If I don’t get a reply within a few days I’ll be sending an email out begging.

As you saw in the email it is going to cost $158 per game which is cheaper than Dunedin![/quote:oojdrix3]

I’m not sure what games you’ve been playing in Dunedin, but I haven’t seen any that expensive before <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/tongue.gif" alt=":P” title=”Tongue” /> Remember that figure is per team, not per game.

I’m not surprised someone fell in. AFAIK it’s been above zero all week in Central Otago and ice has been melting left right and center. Any ice which is still there must have been pretty soft.

If you’re crazy enough to skate on thin ice, at least make sure there are multiple people with ropes to pull you out. Hockey sticks aren’t exactly the longest thing to pull somebody out of the water with.

So you prefer the web page to the stickied topic in the forum? I wasn’t referring to the forum in general in case that’s what you thought.
