[b:gvu47h7q]Bullfrogs vs Kings[/b:gvu47h7q]
The Bullfrogs have been looking solid this season, but are lacking in front end firepower. Kings are looking even more solid, but are lacking in defensive power. So an interesting combination this one. My pick, 1-3 to Kings. The Kings forwards will nip through their two goals in the first period, but then they’ll get tired and the Bullfrogs will hold them out till the last period when Dickson will pick up a goal. The other goals will be to Laing, Harrison King and Mitchell[b:gvu47h7q]Jets vs John McGlashan College[/b:gvu47h7q]
A very lopsided comination this one. Considering the score lines for the past two games this isn’t looking promising for the Johnnies team. My pick, 8-0 to the Jets. Sedgewick to get three, DIHL organiser Soper, McLaughlin, Sharpin, Reymond and Noble to sink one apiece.[b:gvu47h7q]Bears vs Sharks[/b:gvu47h7q]
The Sharks are looking like favourites for the title this season. With some solid coaching from manager Sykes, the Sharks will be looking to continue their winning streak. My pick, 6-2 to the Sharks. Kliegl, Johnston and Tom Wilson to score two goals each for the Sharks, the two Patchett kids to get one each for the Bears. Hellyer to squeal like a little baby and throw a paddy if he has as big a mozzer as last week.Ryan – standing on a stool

[/quote:2tyn9x4m]In that case can I take [b:2tyn9x4m]my[/b:2tyn9x4m] Beemer up there? Wouldn’t mind taking it for a cruise, haven’t used it much yet. Plus it’s pretty comfy so will be nice for passengers.

Conveniently I have a spare set of gear so I will go to represent our team!

[/quote:r1023559]I’ve given a pair of size 10 (I think) skates to Callan to use. If he doesn’t come you are welcome to use them if they fit. They’re Hi-lo Bauer Vapors, not sure what model.

MemberGood idea Tom.
Kyle, can you book us in? Plus I think I still need to pay for the previous session we had there.
A weekend slot would suit me good but Tuesdays will shortly be a bad night for a few of us (summer field hockey). Thursdays are likely to have practices for another month or so and Wednesdays is the DIHL … so preferably not at any of those times.
"Chris":1exp06qc wrote:umm, if we have the numbers for inline, why wouldn’t we just train at the rink? That way, at least the rink gets our money, rather than the caledonian
[/quote:1exp06qc]Coz some of us actually enjoy playing both sports and the Caledonian is WAYY cheaper than the ice rink. We need about 15 people to justify using the ice rink, but only need about three for the Caledonian gym as it is only about $25/hour (or there abouts) instead of $150/hour at the ice rink.

MemberI don’t get it either Chris. Could you give an example of exactly what we need to type in to get NHL videos.
thanks,

MemberI think the address for the site I’ve used was http://www.cif-forums.com. It seems to be down at the moment though. They’ve been having all sorts of internal squabbles between their site admin and the whole site dissapeared for a few months a while back, hopefully that hasn’t happened again! It’s not a download site though, but has a whole heap of links to downloads and torrent files.
The sticking point though, is that you need a login to use it and only some users have the ability to invite new users. Tom Wilson was using my login a while back, so you could ask him if he has any invites to give out yet.

Takes up less space on the form and avoids people randomly jotting down a big annoying list of people as most people wont bother. But still lets them know it’s an option.
