I don’t think anybody actually thought you could just go up to someone, pin them down, tie them up and drag them to the police station! That would be a nice way to put [b:1v6a09p5]yourself[/b:1v6a09p5] in jail!

But letting the police deal with him would atleast let them know who the thief was, even if they couldn’t arrest him.

Balaclavas itch, so I might have to leave the rest of you for that job.

Shit, you come up with the most obvious solutions sometimes don’t you Kyle!
Calling the police would most definitely have been the logical thing to do. Even if they couldn’t arrest him, they’d at the very least get his name and contact details and probably inform his parents.

And yes, the Pak n Save photo came from Michael who was given it either by the police or Pak n Save, I’m not sure which.

Do you mind if I post this in along with your post Chris? Thought I’d better ask since you hadn’t posted it yourself. I’ve cropped you out of the pic so it doesn’t look quite so stalkerish!

I see the mugshot has been posted in the main forum. I’d been a little wary of posting it there as I didn’t want to accuse anyone of theft quite so publicly! But you haven’t actually accused anyone of anything so nicely dealth with Chris.

Haha, nice. He looks like he can see what you’re up to too!

If it was me I’d have just walked up to him and asked him his name! If he didn’t know why you were asking he might have actually told you.

All the SIHL teams are known as the “Southern Knights”

Dunedin SNC team is known as the “Dunedin Ducks”

I’m not sure whether these are the official names though. The last time I was involved with running a DIHA based SIHL team we were entered as the Dunedin B team although we called ourselves the “Bears”.

Logan Conway is who you’re talking about, I thought of him too, but yeah, he’s 20 kg too heavy.

Yeah, I’ve deleted a couple over the past few weeks, including one just now. It’s not exactly a flood, so I don’t think I’d worry about it right now.[/quote:3v6a5qz5]

Thanks, keep me posted on how many you’re deleting as I thought there’d only been about two in the last month.

There’s a new version of PHPBB coming out soon-ish which will hopefully iron out a few of the bugs allowing spam bots through.

No problem <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smiley.gif" alt=":)” title=”Smiley” /> I’m surprised that this forum is being used for selling web design services though! Where the heck are you people finding our site from? I didn’t think information about ice hockey in little old Dunedin, New Zealand would be much interest to a web designer in Montenegro!

Yeah, I might need alert the committee to this problem as it happens quite a lot. I suspect the premier, women and peewees practises haven’t been on over Xmas either but I’ve still got them posted on the home page as such because I haven’t been told otherwise. Not much point organising practises if noones told when they’re on or they’re not on when they’re told they are !?

Mike. Do you have any experience installing web mail programs? I can get webmail acounts setup for our webhost easy enough, but I’d like to have a really fancy custom templated interface so that it could be integrated into the existing site without looking to out of place, kinda like the forum is now (it looked quite different to the rest of the site till recently). I tried installing RoundCube but I had issues trying to configure it to work correctly as I really don’t know what the heck I’m doing – just sort of hacking at it and following online advice to get it to work. My webhost will let me install RoundCube via a CPanel but I can’t customise it that way unfortunately, I need to manually install it to customise it <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/sad.gif" alt=":(” title=”Sad” />

I have a vague plan of offering @dunedinicehockey.hellyer.kiwi email accounts to members, either for a small fee ($5 or so, money going back to the club) or maybe for free.
