Yeah this hockeyshop.co.nz site is not going to happen guys.
Basically it was an auckland dude wanting to sell gear but I dont think he got enough interest through email for him to bother with it.
I emailed him about getting my new mission sticks but its basically pointless to order through him, as all that he does is import the gear and charge you the total importing cost plus he takes a cut, ur basically paying him to take the risk of importing. If you want gear from North America i suggest just ordering a shipment for yourself (from hockeygiant.com, icewarehouse.com, epuck.com, hockeymonkey.com) as i have done many times. Even better is to get a group of people to order, so that shipping is shared. Remember dont go over about $1000 as N.Z. Customs will ping u for importing duties and taxes.

Aaron text me the other day wanting to play goalie for us, id be stoked to have him, i consider him the best goalie in Dunedin (sorry to any goalies reading this who think they are better!!). I recon we will have a team thats not only in contention for 1st, but we should have a shitload of fun too.
Tops would be amazing, perhaps a reveal of the new-look phantoms, could be quite dramatic to open the easton cup!! Il email hodge now get him to play for us, hes keen to practice hard this year for hockey so he should be in prime form come easter.
So basically I just email dunedin ice hockey with the team list, and thats all good. Say there are players that are “mabyes” do I submit thier names anyway??

Anyway, there is a lady in New Zealand that gets her friends in the US to tape her NHL games, and send the best ones over to her. She just sold 4 tapes (total 8 FULL games) on trademe which I purchased for $2 a tape!
If you guys want them, let me know and once I have watched them all (which will only take a couple of days), I will send them to you, if you give me ur address etc.Although I have not seen them yet, there are some good matchups including some Buffalo games (they will win the Stanley Cup this year), so will be good watching eh!

Id also be keen to do highlights around playoff time so that everyone could check out the latest action so I could put some stuff together for the site, as often the highlights are shit and not exactly straight to the point for us here in N.Z.
Would someone be that uptight about us using highlights to help promote ice hockey in this country??Yea man id be keen to do that, but let me know what you want and il try do it, eg. what type of clips, how often etc, and what format you want them in. The clips I have on my computer are much better quality, so if there was a way I could post these on the Dunedin Ice Hockey site directly, this would be much better, but ud hav to show me how to do that im not too familiar with how to do such things!!
Yea the commentators are so passionate for the NHL, I think taking the calls out of the highlights takes all the emotion out of the goals, which kind of kills it i recon, so we’ll keep them in there!

Dont know what u mean bowt disabling, but all good.
With the site I just looked into it and it appears that currently they are not letting people register after the start of the season.
However, I think I am able to invite a few people to join, I dont know whether this will work or not but it would allow you to hav ur own account which would be heaps easier!
So if u could send your email and get kyles email adress through a reply I should be able to hook u up wit an invite through an email.

StiffHey guys hope all is well down there sounds like the summer leagues going well, which is good to hear.
Anyway, if u want highlights the best site in my opinion would easily be CIF-Forums (http://www.cif-forums.com/vb). I have been to almost every site with videos and nothing comes close, there are weekly highlights posted, about 5-10mins long each, and it will most definately keep u up to date with action round the league, and even some elite leagues like SM-Liiga etc.
So yea check it out and let me know what u think, most files are in WMV or JPG format and are done through rapidshare and sendspace etc so easy as to download.
As far as signing up is concerned, there are times during the year you cannot sign up. If this is the case hit me wit an email and il give u my password.
