Cool dude, the thing is, is that the surface by the rink is great to skate on and far bigger than kavanagh, but do u think that george st school would be free on saturday? That would be an awesome place to play, Ryan showed me it the other day.
That netting would be easier to play in so the ball/puck didnt roll away as it would at the rink carpark.
Il ask zanzee for her goal and we can pick it up from the rink.

Im by far the better goalie Ryan, but the reason for the cockiness Regan is to get in peoples heads, Im really a shit goalie but the thing that makes me equivalent to or better than an NHL goalie is the Psychological advantage. But the goal was rightfully disallowed, the goalie had the puck covered for ages before one of your players charged the goalie and freed the puck. Cant really give a goal on that man…

Hahaha dnt worry about it guys, its all good, like I say just a suggestion to make the game more fair, but in all honesty it could be a similar scoreline as last time unless we can get a couple more experienced players somehow without bending the rules.
Anyway il be behind the bench hoping for a Johnnies win!!! And we have Ryan Princess Wick in net, who some compare to Roberto Luongo, so we may just pull it off!!
Fair enough, I dont have to play it was just a suggestion, as theyv asked me to play for them for a couple of weeks now, but I havent coz didnt want to piss anyone off. But as Tom said there are people in the B-grade who have far more experience and can skate through the jonnies team, and some people do, just from watching their games. They just need someone to lead them a bit and provide some more options, tell them where to be etc, not score their goals.
I dont mind just doing it from the bench, id like to see these guys get really good, and Im keen to coach them next year. But with them completely out of the competition, and the scoreline from last week being taken into account, why not put a better player in there to even the scores a bit. I cant remember the scoreline, but it wasnt even at all, and on occasions, many players did skate through our whole team.
Dont wanna make a big issue out of it and dont really care about the whole rules and regulations thing, but it was just a suggestion to hopefully even the teams out for next week. Either way im not worried Im gonna be at the rink anyway with Princess Wick, so yea.

Hey whats the deal with adding players to our lineup for Jonnies, is this possible?
Because in all honesty they are not nearly as good as the bears, and it is nearly impossible for them to skate around someone like ryan hellyer on defence, so any chance I can play the final games for them? As theyve asked if I can. Its not like im going to skate around everyone and score 10 goals in a game, the point of me playing for them is to act as a player/coach to help them get some confidence and to provide a few more opportunities for them, not score their goals for them.

Yea for sure Azzmaster, it just peoples opinions who have no say in the matters of the team if there is one, think everyones getting pretty excited over it (why wouldnt they be!!??), even though it may not happen, and a lot of people are assuming this is pretty much a Dunedin team, which it obviously isn’t (mabye too many commas in there, who knows…). But given that the two main centers for ice hockey in Southern are Dunedin and Queenstown, and the Stampede is mainly made up of Queenstwown players, I think a lot of people are assuming this. Trials are gonna be rocking, itl mean that everyone will work hard as to make the team, and will make this Southern team heaps stronger!!! That is if we get it. Funny thing will be if this team gets rejected, then what will we rave and rant about? See everyone at Stampede trials next year.Peace and Hopefully Godbless Southern getting a Dunedin-based team, so no more 8 hour car rides for 2 hours of training!
STIFFMAN.Yea 4sure man thats a valid point, but as for any team, its also about chemistry, and I assume there is more than simply skill level determining who is in net for our team (if we even get one). But the sooner you get here the better, and we can get you into training.

Yea na i agree azzy, we already have #1 and #2 goalies here in Dunedin, so dunno what gonna happen there, but wev played together with our goalies for a few years now, so for the first season at least I think we should play with the goalies we are comfortable with, that is if we have a team. Thats meaning no offence to you personally Vince, your an amazing goalie and uv showed that this year, but with Ericcson going home, doesnt that open a spot for you in the Canturbury squad anyway?
