The footage is really clear – pretty impressive really.
Wouldn’t it be best to design the box so you can turn it on after the warmup? Can’t you make an on button hole?
You’ve got it mounted underneath the top. Can you mount it on the back, lower down? I would have thought the best footage would be between the goalies legs, and if it’s at the back, then you’ll get a wider view closer to the goal. More likely to get hit of course!
KyleMember100 games of ice hockey and you manage to pick the first one with no goals scored at all to stick a camera in the net?
That’s like reverse talent. Remarkable!
KyleMemberIt’s taken until the 5th DIHL (at the new rink), about a hundred games, to get a 0-0 game.
KyleMemberHighly technical!
Don’t forget your number 8 wire.

KyleMemberMan. You’re just making stuff up Ryan. Picking random scores and names out of the hockey ether!
Clearly I taught you well.
KyleMemberBetter to get one of the other goalies to do two games, or find another goalie who missed out and offer them a game.
Hardly fair to throw one of the Prem goalies into the B grade, unless it’s the only option.
KyleMemberMan.
Stomp that humour into the ground.
I think you missed a bit. Run over it again.
KyleMemberCrazy nutter.
KyleMember“I want to take the opportunity to play for my old school and hopefully help out there B team by teaching them all I can about the game.”
Ha. That’s not what you say about them when you’re not trying to find a team to play for!

KyleMember"Chris":398ahend wrote:Dude, I don’t now where you get this impression that there’s some sort of favouritism going on. The fact of the matter is that last DIHL the Beasts were the top B-Grade team, meaning that our players range from [b:398ahend]the top of the B-Grade to the bottom of the A-Grade[/b:398ahend], which implies, ipso facto, that if you are looking for the set of A-Grade players most eligible to play in the B-Grade, the natural place to look is at the Beasts team.
[/quote:398ahend]Or the rating list, which lists all the players at the bottom of the A grade in convenient rating order, much more pleasant that the smell of the Beasts changing room. And hence Drew and Mallory playing in B grade this time around.
Good on Jane for getting this all up and running – I know it’s a lot of work, and frustrating when things like the A grade just don’t happen. Six teams is a good B grade competition. Hopefully it all settles down and there’s some good games on Wednesday nights.
I’m both ineligible to play in the B grade, and, not available on Wednesday nights anyway. So I probably won’t do my ‘world famous in NZ’ picks for the games. If anyone else wants to put themselves out there, feel free!

[/quote:23ruzftx]Yeah, spot the 99% most likely explanation.
KyleMemberI know nothing.
And I haven’t seen anything on the forum which wasn’t on there later either.
KyleMemberI think Jane has done as much as could be expected of her. It’s not her fault that less than half the needed numbers have signed up!
Like Stefan, I’m still keen to play. Maybe Stef you could get a list from Jane of who has paid/registered, and then round up some more people tonight to get it to two teams? It wouldn’t need too many more. I’d be happy to play a 7 game series with 11 a side or so.
Like the recent series, there could be a reserve list for those useless people who would turn up next week wanting to play all of a sudden.
