Alex and I will come play as well, if we’re allowed.

Up above, where it says 7:10pm…

Do people need to pay to play? And can anyone play? I think people will want to know the answers to these questions.

Can that, looks like the John McGlashan team aren’t fronting up due to the school holidays. Which makes no sense to me since they have the biggest team in the league.

Can I point you to our earlier discussion where I said heaps of the Johnnies kids are boarders, and they go home during the holidays? With a full cup of ‘I told you so’?

    I went with the second.

The first I had to think about for a few seconds. I was starting to wonder why you stood on a stool to clean your shoes! Damn words with multiple meanings.

My son is going to try and organise the peewees to play inline over the summer. We were thinking about doing it outdoors, but if there was inline happening at the Caledonian, and the times could be matched so they followed each other, we might try there before the big kids play.

CIF doesn’t seem to need someone to refer you any more, registration appears to be free and open to everyone.

If it does ask for a username as a referrer, people can try my one if they want, which is ‘jits’.

G and A are surely total goals, including PP and SH?

No, OTT can’t exist. As far as I know, if a game goes to overtime, it will eventually be resolved by golden goal or penalty shootout. I’m not aware of an ice hockey rule set which has ‘some overtime’ and then if there’s no goal, keeps it at a draw (rugby league does this, the warriors played an eventual draw earlier this year).

You don’t have any stats to do with penalties, which you’ll need. Number of penalties for a player, total penalty minutes for a player, total penalty minutes for a team.

If you list PPG/A, and SHG/A, wouldn’t it be sensible to also list even strength for both?

I would try searching google using the “intitle:”index.of” (mpg|avi|iso|wmv|zip|rar) nhl -html -htm -jsp -php -asp -pdf -mp3 -wma” search string.

Note that if you’re going to replace “nhl” with more that one word, you should seperate those words with periods rather than spaces, e.g. “sidney.crosby” rather than “sidney crosby”

I don’t know if that will work Chris. As far as I know, all these things are torrents, no one puts the actual full files up on a site.

I got an email a few days ago with a new address for that site. It is very good, I should try and figure out how to earn invites so we can spread that around a bit.

It’s at home, I’ll try and post it here over the weekend.

Ugh yeah. Where I wrote Sunday there, my brain was thinking Saturday.

    Sunday still ongoing-ish.

Do you really want to open that can of worms?

We never put a space on the form for “I want to play with xxxx”, but we always tried to accommodate.

But do you want to put a space on the form for “I don’t like yyyy, I don’t want to play with him?”

If people had serious issues playing with someone, then I would put them on another team, but if you put a space in for it, then you’re encouraging people to put it in.

If people really don’t want to be on a team with someone, they need to go down the route of organising their own teams, surely?
