Easy big fella 1st off I don’t usually care what happens in the games, I just give 2mins for just about everything. 2nd thing it wasn’t my decision to take things to the board I don’t care if you fight. Its not actually anything to do with James its to do with Ryan I believe. Oh and one more thing you might be playing the games privately but you are still under the IIHF rules so we will inforce those, the only rule we don’t inforce is the woman checking rule.

I’ll admit to being a newbie at refereeing but we have nothing else to go by but the rule book.

FYI … the little gerbil in the rumour mill says that the Dunedin Ice Hockey Association (DIHA) hierarchy are getting quite pissy at the Beasts for not paying money for various things.

Thats not completely true the beasts are fully paid up now finally with the DIHA so hopefully we can keep the balance up so that this doesn’t happen again.

But your second statement is so true

Hey team I need all the money for this game up front. The cost is $120 for the team at the moment we have 11 people so is about $11.00 each

Well its funny you should say do we have a goalie because it just so happens that I’m picking up [b:z56mh5e1]Dudley versions 1.0[/b:z56mh5e1] from the airport tomorrow morning I maybe able to talk him into playing for us one last time. Otherwise [b:z56mh5e1]Dudley ver 2.0[/b:z56mh5e1] is playing unless he has forgotten.

So drinks are in order Saturday night Andy gee what a bad week to stop drinking lol  <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/grin.gif" alt=";D” title=”Grin” />

If there is only three A-grade teams then that will be fine sure we can make up the numbers.

But the A-grade don’t like playing with large numbered teams so keep that in mind also.

Well the team would split some can stay in B-grade others can be split up amongst the A-grade teams. It will do us good to play against each other. I don’t want to sound too negative, the team has come a long way this year but I feel that the next DIHL might be a better option to all play A-grade, that way some of us will have experience at that level.

People will have better chances of improving if they are playing [u:1snk52rz]with[/u:1snk52rz] people of higher grades (I know this from experience) not against them. Its only 6 games (I think) and we will still be playing as the beasts for games between DIHL games that I organize.

So my personal view is yeah we may get beaten everygame but we would improve a HUGE amount and make our play in the SIHL next year (if that happens) way better.

And would anyone be able to print out some rego forms for free at their work or anything? cos I dont have a printer and that may cost me alot of money.

1st off playing better teams does help build strength but if the teams are too strong then we won’t improve at all so I am not willing to put the whole team through to the A-grade sorry guys. But for those who wish to make an appearance go for it, but remember if you can’t get to the puck are you really going to improve.

Jane I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the DIHA will pay you back for photocopying  etc, you should email Jackie and ask. If not Ryan, Andy and myself have free printing but we don’t really want to abuse the system.
