I’ve been trying to convince some of the other players to form a second team, along the same lines of the Beasts but mainly made up of players from the womens team.

Mark, lemme know if you want me to get them to front up with a team and when the game would be. They’ve definitely got the players, just a matter of getting them organised. I’m fairly certain I can get them to pull a team together in time if you let me know ASAP if that’s what you want done.

[u:17m7j4d9]The lineup I’m thinking of would be:[/u:17m7j4d9]
1  Deb Handcock
2  Kara Ross
3  Tess ??
4  Anna Craw
5  David Willan
6  Anthony Cross
7  Zanzee Pielak-Jones
8  Megan Gilchrist
9  Mallory Handcock
10 Phil Handcock
11 Drew Handcock
12 Becky Brassett (G)
13 Kyle Matthews
14 Jenel Bode – NOT AVAILABLE THIS WEEKEND THOUGH
15 Deanna ?? – that chick from Edmonton – NOT AVAILABLE THIS WEEKEND THOUGH
16 Deanna Pielak-Jones
17 Clair Sharpin
18 Phil Pielak-Jones
19+ a whole bunch I’ve forgotten about

Ryan,

PS: Mark, I need a reply to this ASAP or it’ll be too late

Go for it Ryan but I can’t gaurantee the ice is still booked, but Jackie was saying that Queenstown was still getting an ice time bill so maybe it is. I will have to ring up Neil later this morning to confirm it. But deffinitely get organising that team.[/color:17m7j4d9]

Sounds good Kyle. I’m keen for everything although my hockey schedule is a little full right now with SIHL games over the next 2 weeks and the tornament at Naseby, which is comming up soon. However if there’s time and I have the players here we will difinitely play an A grade team.[/color:13sb5988]

Mark said tonight we’re playing the Dunedin Juniors Saturday week <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/smiley.gif" alt=":)” title=”Smiley” /> So that’s June 2st. Presumably Joe Sales will be on their bench coaching them so hopefully there won’t be any dangerous plays by them. They’re usually not too bad though, it’s the midgets which are a problem. Although I can’t say I’d be too bothered either way, as long as there’s a half decent ref I’m not too concerned. The midgets are too slow to cause any problems anyway, they’re more likely to fall over trying to hit us.

Actually Joe said he would jump on and have a play too. I have refereed several of there games and they aren’t normally to bad its just usually the one guy who causes problems in which case i’ll sacrifice Chris and let him try and check him. I say try because I don’t think Chris actual knows how to check.

That is correct we have a game against Dunedin Juniors at 7.30pm on Saturday night so Chris yes you can make it  and no you are not allowed to check you will end up starting a fight with that team. I have organized 2 refs for the game so hopefully crap will be kept to a minimum.
