It’s been said before, and I’ll say it again: the lines of communication within the club kinda suck.

So we’re looking at a Netherlands server. As I said, you might want to consider banning IP ranges from Europe (esp eastern europe).

Well, my car stereo is always blaring classic rock or metal when I arrive at the rink, if that counts…..

… do I listen to the “Rocky” theme, “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor, or “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor?

    Err, no

We should have the rink sound system playing ACDC, The Answer, Airbourne, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Stone Sour, Slipknot etc. etc. before each game. Then everyone would be angry, and the world would be a better place.

erm, google calendar for the win?

Also, just one quick point: I know you’re not pointing fingers here stef, and that’s all good, but let’s all keep in mind that Ryan Hellyer puts in a huge amount of time to this website, waaaay more than is apparent. He also puts in his own money to keep the site running, and the DIHA and all of you get this for free. To give you an idea, if you wanted a professional IT guy to do this, the DIHA would probably have had to spend over $20,000 to get this site the way it is. So, let’s all just be a little less hasty when we start loading up our beleaguered web admin with extra jobs. It’s not like he’s also trying to complete a PhD or anything…..

Bebo is what happened when Facebook had a curry from a dodgy takeaway place.

“Look mommy, I made a Bebo!”

    See what I mean?

Because trips like that tend to involve copious amounts of time spent in bars which you aren’t allowed into unfortunately. Being a ‘kid’ sucks, but wait about three years and life will improve enormously! You will be allowed to drink till you puke and smoke till you choke – sounds like fun eh!

    Ryan,

PS: have sent you a rather long PM about fundraising

Drinking age in Ontario is 19, not 18.  Add another year sadly

Not as bad as BC though, which I think is 21
