I think Bode is getting more pissed off with the different people turning up each time to the SNC practices. To date, I’ve missed one SNC practice (because of a leg injury), but there are only a few “core” players who turn up every time. I think it’s more than a money issue for her. She [i:364pntk7]wants[/i:364pntk7] to coach hockey, and at the moment she really can’t.

I’m not sure there’s a good way around this, but the lump sum payment for the practices is probably a start.

However, I also feel that more organisation/advertising is needed. Despite the fact that this website is an [u:364pntk7]excellent[/u:364pntk7] source of information, and I check it about 5 times a day, there are some guys in my team who have never even been here.

In terms of practical solutions I’m much better at pointing out what’s wrong than I am with fixing it, primarily because I don’t really know how everything runs the way you guys do, but it really does seem to me that the hockey community in general has no fucking idea who the hell makes the decisions, on what basis, and has virtually no notice of what’s happening and why. This makes it quite hard for solutions to be brought forward, and I would bet my balls that any feedback the DIHA gets is severely skewed because of the lack of interactivity with hockey players.

Hell, if it weren’t for these forums and the fact that I know Kyle runs the DIHL, I wouldn’t have the faintest idea how to let the DIHA know what’s working for me and my team, and what isn’t.

In short, I have no idea what I’m saying, but I do know that I’m very frustrated in a way that neither Matt nor Darcy can solve.
