Michael, Rachel, Jane, Julian and Rob all need to leave later (4ish). That’s two cars, not three, so sort it the fuck out or I’ll really lose my fucking temper.

Righto guys, we leave this friday, so can I please have your gear at my house by thursday at the latest. It would be best if it were dry and well packed/zipped up etc.
If your gear isn’t at my place by about 7pm on thursday, you’ll have to arrange with the person whose car you’re going in to take it up in the back, although there’s unlikely to be much room, so I wouldn;t recommend this at all.
I live at 38 Braeview Crescent, Maori Hill. Braeview Crescent is just off Cannington road, which branches off from Warrander st before it becomes Highgate. If you’re coming from town, drive along george street heading north until you arrive at some traffic lights with a Thai place on one corner and Jujabe on the other. You turn up hard to the left, and travel along warrander street til you get to prospect park, at which point you branch off to the right along cannington road. From there, my street is the second street on the right. My house has a brown fence with grey pillars. If I’m not there, walk around the side of the house towards the lawn. There’s a couple of sheltered verandas under which you can leave your gear.

You’d be surprised. In the US it’s very common for students to use open file storage systems on their college networks as external hard drives. The search string looks for precisely that: directories without accompanying index pages.
Believe me, you can find some very interesting stuff with that search string, and ou get much, MUCH better download speeds than with torrents.

Note that if you’re going to replace “nhl” with more that one word, you should seperate those words with periods rather than spaces, e.g. “sidney.crosby” rather than “sidney crosby”
Personally I think that’s a great idea. I can think of maybe three people I wouldn’t want to play with on a DIHL team, discounting ankle-biters in general. Of those three, one isn’t even playing in this DIHL, and I’m not sure if the other is (Haven’t seen him yet).
I think we can all guess who at least two of these are.
But anyways, my point is that being on a team with someone you really, really, don’t like can totally shaft the whole experience for you, especially when there might be an easy fix.
I would be in favour of writing on the slip “If there’s anyone you really don’t want to play with, you must contact the DIHL organizer IN WRITING by x date”, the reason being that we know that people who are willing to go to the effort of separately contacting the organizer in writing probably have a serious aversion to the people they don’t want to play with.
